Shanley Johnson

In the late summer of 2016, a tragedy unfolded within a home on Otsego Street in the village of Ilion, New York, leaving a family altered forever. On the afternoon of August 30th, police were called to the residence where they discovered the body of 42-year-old Stanley Johnson. An initial investigation by the Ilion Police Department determined that Johnson had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At the time of his death, Johnson resided at a different address on Grove Street in Ilion.
