In the early morning hours in the town of Collins, New York, a sense of unease settled over the community. What began as a quiet night was shattered by an act of violence that would claim the life of 31-year-old Dustin Sharp of Hamburg. On October 26, 2016, state troopers responded to a report of a shooting on Route 438 around 1:00 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered that Sharp had sustained fatal injuries.
