In the winter of 2016, the life of 39-year-old Jason M. Davis was tragically cut short in Syracuse, New York. On the evening of December 14th, Davis was found on the city's south side with a gunshot wound to his back. He was rushed to Upstate University Hospital but succumbed to his injuries a short time later. The incident marked another life lost to gun violence in the community.

Police described Johnson as being approximately six feet tall and weighing 145 pounds at the time of the incident.
