In the Bronx, a 30-year-old Hispanic man named Galileo Garcia, who served as an NYPD sergeant, died on February 23, 2017. His death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was ruled a suicide. There were no arrests made in connection with his death as no foul play was suspected.
