Marcos Arrellano Zavala, a 22-year-old man, was last seen on August 30, 1998, in Willis, Texas. He was last seen at Esmerelda's Bar in the company of Guadalupe "Lupe" Pacheco and Pacheco's two adult sons, Luis and Juan Pacheco. Witnesses reported that they left together in a brown Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck, which was later found abandoned in Conroe, Texas, several days after Zavala's disappearance.
