Robert Todd Echols, aged 54, was tragically shot and killed on April 29, 2017, in West Seneca, a suburb of Buffalo, NY. The incident occurred following an AAU youth basketball game at the Niagara Frontier Sports Complex. Echols, who was a deacon at Pentecostal Memorial Baptist Church in Rochester and a former basketball player himself, was involved in an argument with his ex-wife after the game.
