On a tragic Friday evening in Bushwick, Brooklyn, 26-year-old Terrell Ortiz was shot and killed while sitting in his white Nissan Altima. The fatal incident occurred on June 2, 2017, near 1065 Broadway. Responding to a ShotSpotter activation just before 7 p.m., police discovered Ortiz with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Emergency responders rushed him to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
