In the early hours of July 5, 2017, the life of William Kahari Noel, a 30-year-old African-American male, was tragically cut short in Syracuse, New York. Shortly after midnight, gunfire erupted at 2119 E. Fayette Street, near the Parkside Commons housing complex. When Syracuse Police responded to the reports, they discovered that Noel had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
