On the final day of 2020, a life was tragically cut short in Syracuse, New York. Joel Enrique Saldana, a 27-year-old male, was killed in a shooting incident that unfolded on an Interstate 81 overpass. The events of that New Year's Eve would leave a family and community in mourning and set in motion a search for justice. Saldana, who was anticipating the birth of his daughter, was driving his vehicle when he was fatally wounded.
