Jay'mier Gillard, an 18-year-old from Syracuse, NY, tragically lost his life on July 13, 2019. Jay'mier, affectionately known as "Kiss" by his friends and family, had recently graduated from high school and was known for his love of science, technology, and basketball. On the night of his death, Jay'mier was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in the area of Pleasant Avenue near McKinley Park. Despite being rushed to Upstate Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
