In the late summer of 2017, the community of Cheektowaga, a suburb of Buffalo, New York, was shaken by the violent death of a young woman. Diona McCall, a 29-year-old female known to her loved ones as Dee Dee, was found fatally shot inside an apartment on August 21, 2017. The incident cut short the life of a woman described as selfless and beautiful, leaving behind a grieving family, including her child.
