In the early morning hours of a December Saturday in 2017, Mohale Ralekhetho, a 39-year-old male, was fatally shot in Queens, NY. He was discovered in his 2015 Mercedes Benz near his residence on 207th Street, having sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. At the time he was found, another man, aged 33, was in the vehicle with him but was unharmed. Emergency medical services were called to the scene and pronounced Ralekhetho dead.
Known to his loved ones as C.K., Ralekhetho was a father
to twin girls. Reports from the time indicate that he had been shoveling snow for a prolonged period before warming up in his car. It was during this time that the fatal shooting occurred. Some accounts suggested that two individuals were seen approaching the vehicle before the sound of gunfire.
