In a tragic eruption of domestic violence, 29-year-old Suchari Guzman and her mother, Susan Trivino, were fatally shot in their Bronx apartment on January 10, 2018. The gunman, Jorge Vega, a former MTA bus driver with whom Trivino had a tumultuous relationship, then turned the gun on himself in a murder-suicide.
