Jessica White, a 29-year-old mother, tragically lost her life on June 11, 2016, in the Bronx, New York. She was struck by a stray bullet while sitting on a bench at the John Adams Houses playground, watching her three young children play. The bullet was fired during a gang-related shooting, which targeted a rival gang member. Jessica's death was a heartbreaking incident of senseless violence, as she was merely an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
