On August 26, 2023, at approximately 3:50 p.m., officers from the New York Police Department (NYPD) responded to a wellness check request at 660 Arnow Avenue in the Allerton section of the Bronx. Upon entering the apartment, they discovered 45-year-old Cindy Maxwell deceased, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds to her torso.
