A Black / African American man, Roy Jones, was 43 years old when his life was cut short by gun violence in Rochester, New York. On the evening of April 10, 2018, the community was shaken by the news of a shooting on Seward Street. First responders and law enforcement arrived at the scene to find Mr. Jones suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
