Jose Alvarado, a 37-year-old pizza deliveryman, tragically lost his life on August 29, 2018, in Manhattan, New York. Alvarado was ambushed and fatally shot in the head outside the Papa John's pizzeria where he worked in Harlem. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Amsterdam Avenue, just north of 144th Street.
