Nicholas John "Nick" DeNoia Jr., a prominent choreographer and director, met a tragic end on April 7, 1987, in Manhattan, New York. DeNoia, who was 45 years old at the time, was best known for his work with the Chippendales, a male dance troupe he helped elevate to national fame. On that fateful day, DeNoia was in his 15th-floor office at 264 West 40th Street when he was shot in the face with a large caliber pistol.
