Michael D. Jackson, a 39-year-old resident of Amityville, NY, tragically lost his life on January 22, 2019. The incident occurred early in the morning when Suffolk County Police officers responded to a 911 call made by Mark Cheatham, a 34-year-old man also from Amityville. Cheatham reported that a man had been shot at the intersection of Albany Avenue and South Park Place.
