On a cold January morning in Amityville, New York, the life of 39-year-old Michael D. Jackson was tragically cut short. On January 22, 2019, at approximately 7:45 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a man had been shot at the intersection of Albany Avenue and South Park Place. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jackson unconscious in his 2015 Honda Accord, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
