On November 13, 1974, Ronald Joseph DeFeo Sr., aged 43, was tragically murdered along with his entire family in their home at 112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville, New York. The DeFeo family, consisting of Ronald Sr., his wife Louise, and their children Dawn, Allison, Marc, and John, were all found shot to death in their beds.
