Jalen Everett, a 24-year-old from Rochester, NY, was tragically shot and killed on May 4, 2019. The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. in the area of Magee and Dewey Avenues. Everett was a passenger in a car when he was shot at least once in the upper torso. Police officers, who were in the vicinity responding to an unrelated incident, heard the gunfire and found Everett in a vehicle at the intersection of Dewey and Electric Avenues.
