In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in the Bronx, tragedy struck 23-year-old Kashka Richards. On November 20, 2019, while at the tobacco shop where he worked on East 167th Street in the Melrose section, an armed assailant entered, leading to a fatal confrontation. Richards, known affectionately as 'Kush,' was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency medical services.
