Purcell Gowie Jr., a 43-year-old social worker from Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on February 12, 2020. Gowie was shot and killed on East 116th Street in East Harlem while walking to a doctor's appointment. He was caught in the crossfire of a dispute between three or four men, making him an innocent bystander in the incident.
