Ryan Solomon, a 23-year-old resident of Mount Vernon, New York, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2020. The incident occurred during an argument with his roommate, Akeem Palmer, at their shared apartment on South Third Avenue. The disagreement escalated, leading Palmer to fatally shoot Solomon. Despite being seriously wounded, Solomon managed to call 911 and was subsequently rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
