In the summer of 2021, the community of Mount Vernon, New York, was shaken by the tragic death of 32-year-old Jeremy Logan, a Black male. On the evening of June 23rd, Logan was attending a memorial service for his friend, Warren Clahar, who had himself been a victim of gun violence months earlier.
