Antwone "AJ" Williams, a 19-year-old from Queens, NY, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2020, in a violent shooting incident. Williams and his best friend, Javan Simpson, were sitting in a parked SUV near the Cynthia Jenkins School on 137th Ave. and Bennett St. in St. Albans when an unknown gunman opened fire around 2:30 p.m. The two friends were waiting for Williams' mother, who he had promised to pick up from work.
