Jahrell Gause, a 21-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2020. Gause was fatally shot in Brownsville, Brooklyn, during a violent holiday weekend that saw numerous shootings across the city. He was caught in the crossfire at a playground near the Glenmore public housing complex. The incident occurred around 5:30 PM, and Gause was struck in the chest by a stray bullet.
