On a bright August day in 2020, the life of 30-year-old Alondo Lathrop Jr. was tragically cut short in Rochester, New York. On August 4th, while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Wabash Street and North Goodman Street, Lathrop was shot multiple times in the neck and back. The brazen daytime shooting left the community in shock. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find Lathrop with fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead.
