Arfan Butt, a 33-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, was tragically killed on September 12, 2020. Butt was sitting in the driver's seat of his BMW on 78th Street near 12th Avenue in Dyker Heights when two men, who were passengers in his car, exited the vehicle and opened fire on him. The assailants then fled the scene in a getaway Mercedes-Benz. Butt was struck multiple times in the chest and was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
