D'Janeira Mason, a 12-year-old girl from Kingston, NY, tragically lost her life on December 17, 2020. She was at her home on Van Buren Street when shots were fired into the house, striking and killing her. Her 9-year-old brother, Dasane Mason, was also injured in the incident but survived.
