On January 26, 2020, Shatavia Crisantos, aged 26, was tragically killed in a home invasion in Newburgh, New York. The incident occurred early in the morning when Kaliek Goode-Ford, a 30-year-old acquaintance of the Crisantos family, entered their home armed with a handgun loaded with a 30-round magazine.
