Shamel "Pancho" Harris, a 24-year-old resident of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, was tragically shot and killed on January 10, 2021. The incident occurred during a party at an Airbnb rental on Montauk Avenue in East New York. Harris was standing in the kitchen of the apartment when a gunman, positioned outside, fired multiple shots through the window, striking him several times. Despite the efforts of emergency medical services, Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.
