Death by Force

Marcia Reitman Currie, aged 70, tragically died on February 24, 2021, in Mount Hope, NY. The incident was a murder-suicide involving her husband, James Russell Claybrook, aged 84. On the morning of the incident, Claybrook called the police, falsely reporting a burglary in progress at their home. When the state troopers and Mount Hope Police arrived, they found Currie dead in bed and Claybrook dead on the floor of the same room. Both had suffered gunshot wounds.
