Solei Spears, a 20-year-old political science major at Baruch College, tragically lost her life on April 5, 2021, in a horrific incident in Brooklyn, New York. The young woman, along with her mother Rasheeda Barzey, 45, and her sister Chloe Spears, 16, were fatally shot by Joseph McCrimon, Barzey's ex-boyfriend, in their apartment at the Van Dyke Houses in the Brownsville neighborhood.
