Richard Sciascia, aged 71, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2021, in Rochester, NY. The incident occurred during an attempted carjacking on Buell Road in Gates, a suburb of Rochester. Sciascia was fatally shot when two teenagers, Edgar Tolentino and Anthony Jacobs, attempted to steal his car. Both Tolentino and Jacobs were 16 years old at the time of the crime.
