Destiny Greene, a 15-year-old from Albany, NY, tragically lost her life on May 24, 2021. Destiny was fatally shot during a robbery on Wilbur Street in Albany's Mansion neighborhood. She was sitting in a car with several others who had driven to the city from Colonie for a Facebook Marketplace sale. Despite being rushed to Albany Memorial Hospital, Destiny succumbed to her injuries. Her death marked the second fatal shooting of a teenage girl in Albany that month.
