Demetrius Dorn, a 43-year-old man, was fatally shot in the early hours of Friday, July 5, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of West Washburne Avenue, where officers responded to calls of a person shot around 2:10 a.m..

Upon arrival, police found Demetrius Dorn with multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
