In the early morning hours of June 7, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet of a Brooklyn housing project, tragically ending the life of a 31-year-old man named Brandon 'Bird' Williams. A resident of the Langston Hughes Houses in Brownsville, Williams was a beloved and respected figure in his community.
