On a summer evening in Brooklyn, the life of 31-year-old Andre Kittles, a Black male, was cut short by a hail of bullets. On August 6, 2021, in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, Kittles was ambushed and fatally shot. The brazen attack left the community shaken and a family mourning a man they described as a loving father.
