James T. Diamond, a 28-year-old resident of Long Beach, NY, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2021, in Freeport, NY. Diamond was found with a fatal gunshot wound on South Bay Avenue. The incident occurred after Diamond had picked up a $55,000 settlement check from a law firm and attempted to cash it. He and a friend were ambushed and pulled out of their car at gunpoint.
