In what authorities have described as a tragic murder-suicide, 89-year-old Bernice Dubin was fatally shot by her lifelong partner, Albert Greer, age 83, in Rochester, New York. The incident occurred on a Saturday morning in September 2021 within the Wesley Gardens Nursing Home, where Dubin had recently become a resident due to her declining health.
