On a cold afternoon in Rochester, New York, the life of 32-year-old Charlotte Thomas was tragically cut short. On January 23, 2022, at approximately 5:00 PM, police responded to the area of Lyell Avenue and Child Street where they discovered Thomas lying in the road with a gunshot wound. She was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, but succumbed to her injuries later that evening. The incident stemmed from an altercation, though it was reported that Thomas did not know the man who shot her.
