In the East New York section of Brooklyn, a burst of gunfire on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 28, 2021, tragically cut short the life of 16-year-old Cahlil Pennington. The male teenager was outside the Fiorentino Plaza Houses just after 1:30 p.m. when the fatal shooting occurred.
