Joel Cobbs, a 23-year-old resident of Queens, New York, tragically lost his life on October 19, 2021. Cobbs was shot in the head outside the Rocio & Elena salon on 163rd Street near 89th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. The incident occurred in broad daylight, around 2:50 p.m., when a group of approximately 11 men chased Cobbs for several blocks before one of them fired the fatal shot.
