On October 29, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at an apartment complex in the 4000 block of Liberty Road SE in Salem, Oregon. At approximately 6:25 a.m., Etrine Trent Shively, a 21-year-old Salem resident, forced his way into an apartment and shot and killed Antonio Castilleja, also 21 years old and a resident of Salem.
