In the Bronx, a borough of New York City, a young woman's life was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence. Sally Y. Ntim, a 23-year-old female of Ghanaian heritage, was fatally shot on the evening of April 12, 2022. Just a day after her birthday, she found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a dispute that was not her own.
