Orin Hoyte, a 51-year-old resident of East New York, New York, tragically lost his life on August 27, 2022. Hoyte was fatally shot in the lobby of an apartment building on Wortman Avenue around 7:30 p.m. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and was immediately transported to Brookdale Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Hoyte succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
