On a late summer afternoon in Queens, New York, just one day before she would have celebrated her eighteenth birthday, Shantasia O'Brian's life was tragically cut short. The 17-year-old female was fatally shot on Friday, September 2, 2022, while sitting in a car. The incident occurred in the Laurelton neighborhood, where she was with her boyfriend and his 15-year-old brother.
