In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Albany, New York, a large party on Madison Avenue turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 35-year-old Fareed Sanders. On September 4, 2022, at approximately 3:15 a.m., police were called to 136 Madison Avenue following reports of a shooting inside the building where the gathering was taking place. Upon their arrival, officers found Sanders inside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
