On Wednesday, September 14, 2022, Christopher Michael Pesavento, a 50-year-old male, died following a prolonged standoff with law enforcement at his home in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. The incident began around 12:20 p.m. when New York State Police responded to a report of a barricaded person with a gun at a residence on Quaker Bridge Road.
